Despite a few technical difficulties for our virtual attendees, we had a wonderful meeting exploring this year's MOPS theme "Decide to Rise"!

At our kickoff meeting we watched a video from MOPS International President and CEO Mandy Arioto about this year's theme, "Decide to Rise". Mandy is widely known for her unique take on parenting, relationships, spiritual and cultural issues. Mandy believes you are uniquely and wonderfully made and you have meaningful work to do. Occasionally, when we become moms, we start to believe that our motherhood is a constraint that limits what we can do. Mandy reminds us that motherhood isn’t a constraint, it is a catalyst!

If you missed the video, you can watch it at https://vimeo.com/393778387

Next Tuesday we will all meet from 9:30am to 11am for popsicles in the park! We will play, eat popsicles, and just catch up! This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow MOPS moms and their kids a whole lot better!

The church has given us approval to move back indoors at the Millbrook campus! We will base our decisions off of the survey that was sent to our registered moms.

Join us at our next meeting on September 22nd! We will learn some tools for building mental stamina and discuss how to be mentally and emotionally strong.

It's official! MOPS will be returning this September!

However, just like the rest of the world, this year it will just look a little different than in year's past.

Our meetings will be shifting to 7-8:30 pm on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month, but we will still have optional playdates on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday mornings if you feel comfortable attending.

Unfortunately, there will be no childcare during our evening meetings, but nursing babies are welcome to attend. We will also have a virtual option for you to attend the evening meetings from the comfort of your own home if needed.

One piece of good news--there will be NO local dues for the fall semester, so you only have to pay the $31.95 MOPS International fee!

You can go to our website to register and read all about our pandemic policies and procedures. If you have any questions or concerns, just shoot us an email!
